Grace Notes Message – February 6th, 2020

Dear Grace,

Are you enjoying winter? Are you finding this time of year long and cold, and struggling to make it to church and other activities? We all tend to feel this way from time to time.

Church attendance tends to drop in the winter. We’ve seen a few less people in the pews the last few weeks. We know this is normal, and can all relate to how hard it is to get going in February!

Our church community is a place where we care for and comfort Jesus’ disciples. It really doesn’t matter who or how many show up on Sunday. We open our doors to welcome everyone. The quiet and Spirit-filled moments we share together inspire those who are there, and will spread like the ripple effect of a stone dropping on the water, to reach others in our community. Whether you are able to make it to church this Sunday or not, our congregation will continue to nurture the followers of Jesus.

This week we will celebrate Black History Month and acknowledge the history and contributions of our black brothers and sisters. We hope you will join us to receive music, prayer, teachings and fellowship. May God’s blessings reach you wherever you are!

Warmly, Sue
